sangria

This is a perfect festive beverage for celebrations. Be sure to make it the day before you plan to serve it so the liquid absorbs all the fruit flavors and the fruit is fortified with the liquid flavors.

 

2 bottles red Spanish table wine

1 cup brandy/ pisco (if you don’t have use more cointreau)

1/2 cup cointreau

1 cup orange juice

1/2 cup black cherry juice

1/2 cup pomegranate juice

1/2 cup agave nectar

Orange slices

Apple slices 

Pomegranate seeds

Grapes optional

 

Add all ingredients to largest container with lid

Mix well and refrigerate overnight

Serve over ice

 

You could serve the left over fruit over a lemon sorbet or a vanilla ice cream
