A GREAT SIDE; SWEET, SALTY, CRISPY AND ADDICTIVE. Also a great meat substitute for use in tacos.
INGREDIENTS
serves 4 as a side
1.5 lb brussells
1 TBSP peanut or neutral oil
salt
black pepper
DRESSING
1 TBSP toasted sesame oil
1 tsp or more to taste honey
1 TBSP soy sauce
1 TBSP oyster sauce (optional, this dish is vegan without it)
1 TBSP rice wine vinegar
sesame seeds for garnish
PREP
Preheat oven to 425
Clean and cut brussels sprouts in half if baby or quarters if larger
Coat sprouts in large cast iron pan or sheet pan with oil, salt and pepper
Mix dressing ingredients in small bowl, set aside
Roast brussels for 30 minutes or until slightly charred
Coat with dressing, turn off oven and put them back in the oven while you finish the rest of the meal
